Scats Esterhuyse born in 1954 is a self taught artist, influenced by the works of artists such as William Turner.
He studied at The School of Art, Ballet, Drama and Music in Parktown and has been painting professionally for nearly 2 decades.
The majority of his works feature landscapes and karoo scenes similar to the style of John Meyer’s work. He travels South Africa painting scenes of the parts of the country he has seen. His portfolio could be said to be a log book of his travels.
