tai Vangani was born in Zimbabwe and is now a SA citizen living in Port Elizabeth. Gifted from a young age, he says he paints from memory by observing his hometown surroundings. During his application to attend art college, he was accepted after drawing a pencil sketch right on the spot.
Since teaming up with his now agent, Morne’ Kretschmann, of Kretschmann Art Gallery, he has had 2 sold-out shows at The Van Rhyn Museum in the Netherlands and exhibits in top SA galleries. After experimenting with various mediums, painting is still his passion.
