Jackie Noakes

Born in Nottingham, England, Jackie settled with her parents in Africa at the age of fifteen.

She spent her teenage years in Zambia where she began to sculpt with clay she dug from the river beds. During those early days, Jackie spent a great deal of time on horseback exploring the surrounding areas developing a love for the African bush and wildlife. Later as a newly-wed she and her husband lived adjacent to the Kafue National Park where a great deal of her time was spent studying the many species of African animals which roamed in abundance.

Today South Africa is home for Jackie and her family, where she continues to sculpt with a passion and love for her gift. Her sculptures now include Mandela reliefs, cold cast bronze wildlife and some hand painted sculptures.

Her art has been exhibited in galleries throughout the world.
