Conrad Theys was born in 1940 in Montague, Cape Province. He is a painter and graphic artist of landscapes, portraits and still life and genres.
He works in oils, watercolour, ink-wash, pencil, charcoal and pastel. Conrad is one of South Africa’s top artists and was awarded an honorary doctorate by Unisa for his contribution to the art world in South Africa.
